Tris developed a strong ear and knowledge of house music in the late 90’s while attending University in Miami . At this time, she became acquainted with many high profile international DJ’s that frequented the Miami Scene, and attended the legendary south beach parties like Back Door Bambi, Sunday Sessions at Nikki Beach, Sunrise Sessions at the Original Space Patio, Mansion, as well as traveling abroad and visiting legendary clubs such as Pacha and Space Ibiza,…...
Furthering her aspirations to be involved in the House Scene, Tris started a small record business in college whereby she purchased white labels, test pressings, and bootlegs of vinyl from the UK at wholesale and sold these limited edition records to local Miami Dj’s. This is where she honed her in-depth knowledge of record labels, the DJ’s associated with each label, and the intricacies of each genre. She bought her first set of Technic 1200’s in 2003 and fell in love with the idea of DJ’ing, however, after graduating Tris focused on opening a business and DJ’ing became a hobby in place of a career. Within the past year, Tris has renewed her passion and ambition to DJ in front of an international audience. She is actively pursuing a career as a DJ and her goal is to spin on every continent before 2015.
